One of my best coffee shops in Cape Town is Cafeen. It somehow seems to be a place I can escape to! They make you feel at home & serve the most amazing PANCAKES:) If you feel the need to sleep late they also serve the most delicious lunch! Definitely worth a visit. They are open Mondays - Fridays (8:00-16:30) and Saturdays (8:00-15:00), Sundays (8:00 - 14:00). Find them just down the road from Oblivion in 3rd Avenue Harfield Village. Be sure to book though for weekends (0216746209) ... a few times I have had to queue for a seat. Week days are much quieter :)
