Rhubarb Room, one of my best coffee shops in Cape Town is found on Bree Street in the city. They serve an amazing cappuccino and always have the kind of cake you seem to be craving. If you are into decorating your home they also have the most beautiful pieces especially nice to get a friend as a gift or to spoil yourself.

Pan Am

Pan Am... my new best TV series... is a show about the famous Pan American airline in the 1960's. Not only is the show exciting & fun, it is like a run way show for the 1960's. If you are into fashion as I am, you will love this show.

Moroccan Oil

So the new word hot off the press is “Argan Oil”. My hair dresser told me about this amazing stuff and that she was given a sample to use on clients hair, but that it was so amazing that she refuses to use it on anyone and is keeping it all to herself. A few weeks later one of my favourite fellow bloggers Everything She Loves, picked me to receive a bottle of Moroccanoil. Well the bottle was sent to me within days and my hair has been different ever since. 

I opened the packaging and was surprised to find a beautiful glass bottle (Lo’ Occitan used to come in glass bottles if anyone knew and sadly they have changed to plastic cause of costs). Somehow when I saw the glass bottle I knew I would love the product. Argan oil comes from the Argan tree indigenous to Morocco. It can be used all over your body as it contains antioxidant Vitamins A, C and E.  I began using it every evening on my hair before bed by just putting a tidy squeeze onto my hand and working it through my hair. It doesn’t make my hair feel oily or greasy and leaves it feeling so soft, less frizzy and nourished. I am completely sold on this product and will never go another day without using it. Synergy Live

Once again it's time for one of the best festivals in South Africa, Synergy Live 25- 27 November 2011 on Boschendal Wine Estate in Franschhoek. 


Here are some key looks on what to wear for the festival that I put together...

1. Nivea face wipes: for hands, feet, face & everything else that may need a      wipe. 

2. Bog: Cause every year they run out & it is imperative for us ladies.

3. Dry shampoo: Just to keep looking fresh & shiny.

4. Wellies: say no more!

5. A fresh pedi & mani: nothing better than being summer ready.

6. Dior waterproof mascara: I tend to shy away from the make-up at festivals as it runs in the heat, and smudges in the water, but a must for me is waterproof mascara.

7. Toothbrush: Wipes don't work as well on your teeth!

8. Sunblock: Burning on day 1 means day 2, and 3 become unbearable. 

9. My felt 70's hat: Looks so cute and keeps the sun out too! (surprise)

10. Bikini: no explanation needed!

11. Sunnnies: My recent Tom Ford purchase a MUST!
